The promised update..

Sometimes you think you've done the research, and you know what you need to know.
Then you get a hint that maybe just "this" one little bit isn't quite what you thought it was. So if "this" is actually "that", then "those" are really, and that makes "them" not fit....... and so on, and so forth.

I've been having that kind of week.

My little "this" has been that you need to be minimum Intermediate Level to be able enter a NZSIA ski instructor course.
Writing it out like I just did makes me want to raise my eyebrow at myself and go, 'Pretty big little "this" you're talking about there."
But in my defense I had talked to one of the people connected to the course, and he did tell me that it sounded like I have the minimum Level.

So, I don't know. A bit of a miss communication in there somewhere I guess.

These past couple of days I've been looking for a course that is for people wanting to get up to NZSIA minimum level, and the closest I have come is going on a holiday up to a resort somewhere (more or less) and paying for daily lessons.

Expensive.

Not to mention that just the once wouldn't be enough.

But! I will not give up.
I will! I will find a way.
I will get at least some time on fluffy white stuff by the end of January 2013 if I have to crush the ice and create my own mountain of it. (Not that that definitely isn't more expensive then almost anything else I might come up with, but you get the idea!)

Figuring out the where's, when's and how much's of it all.

Ok, probably about now your wondering why I haven't posted to say that I've got my video up already.
I haven't been being lazy, I promise. I'v been on the internet doing some last minute revising of my plan so that when I do do my video, I know what I'm talking about. Where I'll be going and how much money I need, how much can I afford myself?

Those are the kind of things you need to be sure of before you can start asking people to invest any kind of belief in you no?

Anyway, last minute checks have become a complete revising of my plan as a few people I've spoken to have given me some good idea's that I want to take into account.
I'm still going to get a instructors qualification in skiing, that's not the part of the plan that's gonna change. I'm just going about it differently.
Hopefully in a way that will lower the chances of anything going wrong.

Now, I shall leave you with that little tidbit, and fingers crossed that by tomorrow or at latest the day after, I'll be able to tell you something a little more concrete.
